Description

Audience: Elementary, Middle, High

How to ... on CD is a  high impact, K-12 CD-ROM containing over 380 lesson plan activities (which include 180 reproducible student notes and worksheets) and 160 resource activities. Developed by classroom  teachers and counselors, the activities are keyed to the National Standards for School Counseling Programs, National Career Development Guidelines, SCANS,  Education for Employment, and Wisconsin Developmental Guidance Model.

Well-defined teacher instructions, student instructions, and accompanying notes and worksheets free you from needing to prepare career lessons. You can deliver quality career development without hours of lesson  preparation and content development.

Every classroom in your school can share How to ... on CD. The software license permits use on networks and stand-alone computers within the building leasing or purchasing How to ... on  CD. While a set of books rarely leaves the classroom of the person who acquired it, every teacher has immediate access to the entire How to ... on CD database  of activities. (Note: Available in Windows format only.)

How to ... on  CD may be purchased for home use. This will provide teachers and counselors with the additional, less time-pressured opportunity to incorporate How to's lesson plan activities into their career development curriculum while in the comfort of  their own home. For member or nonmember institutions, home use is restricted to the population served by that institution.
