Employees

Employees have a key role in building a productive, legal environment. The right training can provide them with proper standards of behavior, an understanding of company policies, and ways to use internal complaint systems if problems arise.   Civil Respect for Employees does just that - clients report reduced litigation expenses, positive changes in company culture, increased use of company policies and internal systems, and decreased external complaints.

Corporate Citizenship is Everyone’s Responsibility
Civil Respect for Employees is an interactive, video-based program which communicates both the employer’s and the employee’s workplace expectations and responsibilities. Presented in a non-legal way, Civil Respect for Employees allows participants to deal with workplace problems which may occur in their day-to-day operations and apply what they learn to their own problems. It can also help your organization introduce company policies and show that it has taken the proper steps to avoid a discriminatory workplace. Topics include:

  • Guidelines for appropriate workplace conduct
  • Application of company policies
  • Systems for processing complaints
  • A supervisor’s duty to act
  • Confidential concerns
  • Dealing with customer and supervisory issues
  • By the end of the course, participants will understand their role in building a Civil Workplace (SM) as well as their organization’s commitment to fair practices.
