Hydraulift˛
Hydraulift˛ is a low-pressure, air-over-oil simulator. The unit uses water and food coloring to simulate hydraulic fluid. The computer controlled, working hydraulic and pneumatics system allows students to grasp and apply math, science, and technology concepts. Even students without comprehensive English language or computer skills can master the user-friendly GUI software, which offers easy input and instant feedback.
Hydraulift˛ helps students visualize the mathematical relationship of fluid power formulas. Students manipulate variables within the computer program to calculate mass and friction. The students receive immediate response from the computer and Hydraulift˛ as they follow the fluid flow through clear plastic tubing.
