Modular Power Distribution System

This simple, fully-modular system provides electrical power to rows or groups of workstations and consists of the following:

Single Junction Box (shown) with 1 or 2 duplex receptacles positioned inside the wire management channel of each workstation. (Double Junction Boxwith up to 4 duplex receptacles is also available.)

Durable, variable length, flexible metal power cables with modular connectors provide power to junction boxes in adjacent stations.

Power entry cable assembly for connection to building power.

Technical Information

Cable assemblies are 8 wire / 4 circuit rated at 125/240 VAC. They have a 10 AWG conductor wire (neutral) as well as a 12 AWG neutral and isolated ground in the fourth circuit to allow an isolated dedicated circuit for equipment sensitive to powerline noise.

The junction boxes and duplex receptacles are housed in black polycarbonate, 94V-0 rated. The contacts are copper alloy, selectively plated tin and silver. The duplex receptacles are rated at 125 VAC, meet NEMA 5-15R and NEMA 5-20R, and are fully polarized and keyed. The active line or circuit is clearly indicated on the front. Junction boxes are rated at 125/250 volts, 20 ampheres.

The Modular Power Distribution System meets all of the following standards:
Listed under Underwriter's Laboratories In. 183, 498, and 1286 standards
Certified to Canadian Standards Association 22.2 no. 42 and 203 standards
Compatible with 1996 National Electrical Code Sections 604 and 605
