In this lab, students manipulate lasers, lenses, and mirrors to discover the secrets of reflection and refraction, the difference between real and virtual images, the properties of different types of lenses and mirrors, and much more.

This experiment investigates the  relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of  reflection. First a laser is selected from the Toolbar and  positioned in the Lab Window. A plane mirror is placed in  the path of the laser beam, and the beam is reflected back.  Rotating the mirror in single-degree increments causes the  reflected beam to change direction.
