As soon as a floor plan has been drawn, the DataCAD user has the ability to switch to 3D views of the design. Isometric and other parallel projection views can be created with the click of a mouse button. With DataCAD, defining a new perspective view is as easy as using the mouse to position a viewing point and a viewing direction. DataCAD also comes with a quick shader function to enhance 3D views of designs.
Powerful macro functions included!
Imagine creating a complete spiral or double back staircase in one click. Then imagine viewing a shaded perspective view of the stairs with just a couple of more clicks. The included 3D Stairs macro makes all this possible. Another macro provides for creating wall, floor, and roof, framing complete with a list of required framing lumber. Additional professional level macros are included that will provide your most advanced students with previously undreamed of design power.

Rendering and animation at no extra cost!
Each copy of DataCAD comes with the Visual Reality rendering and animation program. With this program it is possible to generate photorealistic images and animations of designs produced with DataCAD.
